India's Look East Policy And Its Influence On China

It has been a long time since India established close contact with Southeast Asia region. After India's independence, influenced by the international and domestic factors, the relations between them was in a state of estrangement. With the end of Cold War and the development of the globalization, India has commenced regulating and improving its relations with the area and started a new era. Over several years' efforts of different administrations, India has achieved great success in its way of Look East. Meanwhile, in view of Southeast Asia . region close to China and its significant meaning for China, it is inevitable to involve in China's relevant interests and attract its attention. Therefore, we should study and think over India's Look East Policy, including its reasons, process, consequence, outlook and its influence on China as well as the countermeasures of China.
