The end of the cold war caused the world two-pole pattern to disintegrate, the globalization advancement sped up, regionalism has obtained great development. The Indian government acts according to the change of the domestic and foreign situations, and has adopted look east policy. The look east policy unifies the national development and the national security strategy, constitutes the Indian great nation strategy important component. After more than 10 years unremitting efforts, the look east policy has already made the remarkable progress. India and the ASEAN country in domains and so on politics, economy, security have launched the effective cooperation, increases the new power for the Asian area cooperation. China has adopted the new safety good neighborliness and friendliness policy primarily, eliminates cold war period and Southeast Asian country's barrier positively, promotes the local integration construction, has constructed a stable international environment for the domestic modernization.This article based on existing research and foundation, taking the Marxism theory as the leadership, the utilization comparison study principle, and profits from the international strategy analysis method, to Chinese and in India's Southeast Asia strategy integrant parts and international environment, strategic target, strategic policy, national interest, strategic culture carries on the analysis, the comparison, induces both countries Southeast Asia strategy from the contrast the similarities and differences spot, analyzes in the Indian Southeast Asia strategy the successful experience, and profits from our country Southeast Asia strategy, strengthens our country in the Southeast Asia competitive power and the influence to realizes our country's national interest.
