The Image Of China In The Philippine Media

Philippines is one of our important neighboring country. With China's rise of economy and enhancing of national strength, China's development trend draws the extensive and close attention of the world, especially its neighbors, Philippines and other ASEAN countries. This thesis selects the China-related reports in Manila Bulletin in Philippines, and sums up the understanding to China of the Philippines. Then, the author analyses the reasons of the understanding in several respects. At the end of the thesis, the author believes that China and the Philippines will be more closely interdependent in the economy sphere, along with China's continuous opening and integration into the world, economic development, enhancing the role for the peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. For economic competition, Positive response and adjustment is the most effective long-term strategy for dealing with bilateral relations.
