The pondering of Mao Zedong, the new China's principal leader, about relations of China and the world is the basis on which Communist Party of China and new China's government formed diplomatic strategy and implemented diplomacy activity. It is not only essentially important to perspective Mao Zedong's thought pulse, to comb clearly Mao Zedong's thinking in theoretic studying, but also to analyze the complex international situation, to formulate and consummate the Chinese diplomacy strategies in the 21st century in diplomatic practice, through studying the evolution of the new China's diplomatic strategy.Generally, the formation and change of one country's diplomatic strategy involves two basic factors—the national interests and the international environments. Diplomatic strategy must be adjusted naturally to the changes of international environment or intrinsic condition. But, reviewing the change of diplomacy strategy in the first 30 years of the People's Republic of China, we may find China's diplomatic strategy had been changed essentially with the rapid rate in cold war pattern where America and Soviet confronted each other from the 50's to the end of the 70's of the 20th century. It is easy to find many obvious contradictions if we only consider the two factors: the external environment and the intrinsic condition. The problem of that study method is neglecting the subject of the diplomatic strategies so that the statements appear to be objective , however, haven't touched the crux. Then, I try to perspective the change of diplomatic strategy of new China in the more than 30 years from another angle of view in this article: the pondering about China and the world which Mao Zedong had formed and adhered to in his nearly half century revolutionary career. This article includes three parts. First part: the general analysis about evolution of new Chinese diplomatic strategy in which I elaborate the function, of the need of national interests and the change of international situation ,in the evolution of the new China's diplomatic strategy. It is clear that we can not completely explain why there are so many changes of the diplomatic strategy through the- inside- and- outside-factors- analysis- method. At the same time, an intrinsic logic presents in front of us that had been persevered by Mao Zedong, namely Mao Zedong's "revolutionary standpoint" and "struggle characteristic". Therefore, we can draw the conclusion that the idea of "revolution and struggle" Mao Zedong adhered to is an intrinsic basis which should not be neglected .Second part : the connotation and origin of the "revolution and struggle" logic Mao Zedong. In this part, I elaborate separately the connotation and the origin of "the revolutionary standpoint" and "the struggle way" from two angles of view : Mao Zedong's revolutionary practice and the origin of theory.Third part: the function and enlightenment of the "revolution and struggle" logic adhered by Mao Zedong. We can draw the conclusions: the principles of national interests is the foundational principles of diplomatic strategy; The ideology principle is the important basis of diplomatic strategy; The national interests and the ideology should form positive interactive relations through analyzing the positive role and the historical limitation of the "the revolution and the struggle" logic Mao Zedong had adhered to. |
