Ideological And Political Education In The Perspective Of Socialist Political Civilization

It is determined that political civilization construction will be paid more attention when the report of 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China (16th NCCPC) made constructing a socialist political civilization as one of the important goals for building a well-off society in an all-round way. As a good tradition and one kind of social governance mode, ideological and political education, with a view to new practice and development, has a relation with the mission in the certain era. It will also play a crucial important role in the process of constructing socialist political civilization in China. How to treat rightly the role of ideological and political education in the process of constructing political civilization, and how to adjust itself to adapt practical need and promote the construction of socialist political civilization, which are the outstanding academic and practical problems in the research of ideological and political education.Starting from the fact of constructing socialist political civilization, this article tries to analyze by the numbers the status and role of ideological and political education in constructing socialist political civilization, and put forward some feasible measures to improve the methods of ideological and political education and make it supply the service to the construction of socialist political civilization.The article is divided into three parts.Chapter1: the article expatiates the meaning of ideological and political education, and analyze the essence and function of it.As an important political advantage, basic means of social control and basic method of personality-shaping of the CPC and the socialistic state, the ideological and political education is a social practice system formed by its many related factors and those movements among them, and it's the sum of the part of ideological part in the work of political work and the political part of ideological work. Political characteristic is the essence of the ideological and political education. It reveals the content of the ideological and political education. The political content of ideological and political education is the reflection of politics of social system, existing in ideal form, so we call it political characteristic or political essence. The essence and characteristics of political characteristic of the ideological and political education can be summed up from three aspects by the social structure, the status of various contradictions in the ideological and political education and the central concept of ideological and political education system.The function of ideological and political education means the efficiency and the vital social role with which is provided. In particular, China's ideological and political education is reflected in two aspects: one is ideological function and the other is human cognitive function. The first function is extended from the nature of class, the characteristics of political and the nature of the Party of Ideological and Political Education, including directing function, guarantee function, stabilization function and agglomeration function; Human Cognitive Function means to understand and shape the human self and the society by the ideological and political education. For the individual, it means to build up one's ideality, hold one's faith, edify one's sentiment, and perfect one's personality. For the society, it means to establish the common values and build a better humanity's common spiritual home.Chapter2: in the part of the text it mainly circumfuse the relation between ideological and political education and the socialist political civilization . It analyzes that the ideological and political education is in a dominant position in the construction of socialist political civilization, and specifies the role of ideological and political education in the constructing socialist political civilization .Also, it discusses the conditions for the realization of the role of ideological and political education on the socialist political civilization .From the position in social structure and the important role in the Chinese history revolution and construction , ideological and political education in constructing socialist political civilization is an essential status and occupies a dominant position. The function of Ideological and Political Education in constructing socialist political civilization in general can be divided into three categories: political guiding , inspirit spiriting and environmental protection . Political guiding can be divided into political orientation, the concept of democracy-oriented, media-oriented; The most important function of inspirit spiriting is to stimulate the enthusiasm for political participation which provides the impetus from the principal part for the construction of political civilization. Environmental protection is to realize establishing a stable social environment because ideological and political education can coordinate and resolve demos internal conflicts and withstand against "Westernization" and "dividing".The positive function of ideological and political education to the construction of political civilization is not unconditional but bases on the conditions. The article mainly analyze ideological and political education how to optimize the internal conditions by itself. The internal conditions is how the ideological and political education accommodates its part of itself . Ideological and political education realizes the function to promote the socialist political civilization by maintaining the character ,opening and developing with the socialist political civilization.Chapter3: The part give some advise about the innovation of ideological and political education according to the need of constructing a socialist political civilization, for example orientation, goal, content and method.Firstly ,upholding the political education in a dominant position in the ideological and political education . Ideological and political education should not include the entire contents about education, moral education and psychological education. The contents we should be concerned and researched by the ideological and political education are related with politics. Ideological and political education must highlight the political and should not be weakened it. Otherwise, it will lose its noumenon meaning of the ideological and political education .Secondly, establishing the human all-round development as the ultimate goal of the ideological and political education. Achieving the human all-round development is the value pursue and strong force of socialist political civilization. In the development of socialist political civilization we should insist a people-oriented political beliefs and political institutionalization, and put the people's fundamental interests as the starting point and end-result of the party and the state. All are providing a political support for the human all-round development.Thirdly, highlighting civic education as the main content of our ideological and political education. Civic education is essentially a process of civic consciousness forming and enriching .China's socialist civic consciousness should include : democracy, equality, the rights and obligations, sense of the rule of law and political participation.Finally, improving education method in order to improve the efficiency of ideological and political education. This paper mainly analyze these method in schools, public areas and government. First We should bring into play to the role of school education: enrich the curriculum content; focus on improving classroom teaching methods ; guide educators to take part in more social practice ;strength subject research. Then, to make reasonable use of public scope. we should use the mass media education to publicize and mobilize social groups and political organizations to educate. Lastly ,the government should play the role as the main carrier of the ideological and political education . The government itself is the most direct political practice and has good results of ideological and political education. Establishing efficient, honest, just and intimate government is the boosters of ideological and political education.
