The political harmonious relationship is the state of dependency, coordinationand promotion existing among the social classes, stratums, parties and nationalities.Mao Zedong has carried through the earnest ponder and exploration to establish thepolitical harmonious relationships. The thought originated from the Marxism' sconception of harmonious society, and the harmonious thoughts which rooted in theChinese traditional culture. Under the leadership of the Mao Zedong's thought ofconstructing the political harmonious relationship, it has led China to establishthe more harmonious political relationship in 1950' s. Furthermore, it has laid thethought foundation of building the Harmonious Society carried by the Chinesecommunists led by Hu Jingtao.The dissertation is composed with five parts.The introduction illustrates the purpose, significance, present researchsituations and the problems, the innovations, and the methodology.In the second chapter, the author explores the origination of Mao Zedong'sideology of political harmonious relationship. Firstly, the forming background andthe visualization of the future harmonious society of the Utopian Socialism in 19thcentury are introduced. Secondly, harmonious thoughts which rooted in the Chinesetraditional culture are clarified. Finally, author nails down the origination ofMao's ideology, which could be traced back mainly to the Marxism' s harmonioussociety's conception, and partly to the Chinese traditional thoughts clarified asthe above.In the third chapter, the primary contents and achievements of Mao' sexploration steered on his ideology are discussed in details. Author analyses theefforts and the correct thoughts made by Mao in many aspects, including therelationships among interior various social classes and stratums, comrades in theParty, between the Chinese Communist Party and the democratic parties, among variousnationalities and social members, as well as between the Chinese Communist Partyand international parties. In the fourth chapter, the author summarizes the main characteristics of Mao' sexploration steered on his ideology. They are described that the private system isthe root of the political disharmony, and Marxism Contradiction Theory is thephilosophical base of the thought of political harmony, the economical harmony isthe material foundation of the political harmony, and the legal system is theguarantee of maintaining political harmony.In the fifth chapter, the author generalizes the historical significance andlimitation of Mao's exploration. She indicates that the correct thoughts formedin the process of Mao's exploration successfully establish the primary harmoniouspolitical relationships in 50-60' of the 20th century in China, and also points outthat after the struggle against the Right Part in the large scale in 1957,the Mao'sexploration marched into the erroneous direction caused by various national andinternational reasons.
