The Rectification Movement in 1957 was initiated by the Communist Party members represented by Mao Zedong. It was a meaningful try for the establishment of the Party and the coming climax of the complete construction of socialism society. It did made some progress but finally ended up because of the magnified Anti-rightist struggle.
