The Anti-Rightist Movement from 1957 to 1958 was a significant movement in the history of CPC and PRC.Julu County was a basic unit of the Movement of Rectifying the Working Style of The Party and the Anti-Rightist Movement of the grass-roots level.Moreover,the Anti-Rightist Movement in Julu was carried out as an important part of the Movement of Rectifying the Working Style of The Party.The Anti-Rightist Movement in Julu began in August 1957,and ended on the whole April 1958,mainly including the stages and methods as "free expression of opinion","debate and criticism","punish the rightists".Generally speaking,the Anti-Rightist Movement in Julu basically followed the leadership and instructions from the upper government and party group,and used a variety of effective concrete measures,having a good job in preparation and the mobilization of the masses,and successfully completed all the mission.But at the same time,as with other grass-roots units,a serious problem of finding too much "rightists" inevitably appeared&further development of the "left error" was promoted.
