Communist Party Of China's Promoting On The Establishment And Implementation Of This Basic State Policy Of Equality Between Men And Women

Improving women's status, maintaining the feminine rights and interests, promoting the equality of the sexes are no longer regarded as the women's rights question by narrow sense.They are rised as the human rights question, the development question. The Communist Party of China always appreciates women's liberation and women's development. In 1995, at the UN Fourth World Conference on Women, the President Jiang Zemin made the promise to the world: Equality between men and women is a basic state policy. Hereafter they take a series of measures to promote the achieving of the basic state policy of equality between men and women. And they has obtained the achievement which attracts worldwide attention.Through promoting the establishment and implementation of this basic state policy of equality between men and women, our Party impels the development of women's liberation and advancement,which has the significant historical meaning.In this process, the experience which our Party obtains has more advantageous to clearly recognize the current domestic and foreign situations,to base on our country's national condition,to view of the current problems and to find the correct way and the diligently direction.And that promote the further realization of this basic state policy of equality between men and women, the advancement of society and both sexes' harmonious development. The dissertation are divided into four parts. The first part introduces both the establishment background of the basic state policy of equality between men and women and three generation of leaders promoting the establishment of the policy. The second part studies The Communist Party of China instructing and promoting the implementation of the basic state policy of equality between men and women from the concrete operation stratification, which mainly displays in the organization of propaganda work, perfecting legal safeguard mechanism,the policy safeguard mechanism and consummating organization system these four aspects. The third part summarizes the great significance of establishment and implementation of the policy, in view of the current questions , the fourth part points out the direction of hard working that they continue to implement the basic state policy of equality between men and women in future.
