Social science focuses on the point that people lived in rural area going to citiesand other developed region for business or work. The main study are concentrated onthe basic trend of social region mobility, that is from west region to middle then toeast. Quite differences existed among different regions in geography, naturalresources, labour force and technological conditions cause to unbalance indevelopment of economy and society. Generally speaking, there are gradient patternsfrom east region to middle to west of the whole country. Social mobility was veryinduced by horizontal difference in terms of common rule. The greater potentialdifference, the greater power of flowing will have. Meanwhile, the direction ofmobility associated with social horizon is from high to low. Just due to social andeconomic gap among the individual regions breeds such flow from the aspect ofsocial regions' mobility. Therefore, the gap brings to the basic current of socialregions' mobility, flowing from westward to middle parts then to eastward. But whencomes to the farmer's mobility, there still is a branch influenced and drived bypopulation, ground, employment idea other than the main stream.The paper researchs the Anhui-born farmers working in Urumqi of Xinjiangautonomous region. The types of mobility that is a branch from middle to west goingwith the main stream from middle to east could be summed up into special flow modeother than the basic current of region mobility.This paper attempts to explain the cause of the phenomenon that farmers inAnhui province flow to Xinjiang autonomous region in which general economicallevel lower than the central of China by investigating and interviewing somerepresentative farmers. Meanwhile,the paper also draw the conclusion after analyzingthe kinds of reasons, looking forward to making up possiblly the current theoryrelated to the mobility.
