The Chinese society is undergoing a profound transformation, but in the political domain, the transplantation of democratic system has aroused many problems. From the aspect of political culture, on the one hand, introduction of the external system (for example electoral system) has quickly been available, on the other hand the corresponding transformation of political culture psychology has not turned up yet. This profound reformation as well as its tendency is the one from the traditional politics (clan society) to the modern democracy (individual society). However, carrying out the cultural reformation and the psychological transformation, it is easier said than done.So naturally the contradiction between fast-building of political principles and delayed-establishment of political psychology emerges. Furthermore, this situation leads to the coexistence of high rate of political participation and low passion of people, in other words, the public indifferent attitude toward politics. As we all know the political attitude is not the master-key to all political actions. But as an important political psychology, to some degree, the attitude still has significant influence to the actions. Basing on the China's reality this article attempts to analyze and elaborate politics indifferent in terms of meaning, performance, influence, reason, and countermeasure, so as to seeking more standpoints on the public approval of the current political election and political participation.
