Contradictions And Evolution Of Contradictions Between The National Structure And The Leadership System Of The Party In The Soviet Union

After the victory of October Revolution, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union chose the structure formation of the federal republic, thinking of the multinational characteristic of country. When the Communist Party of the Soviet Union was setting up the new nation. At one time, as a result of historical characteristic and the need of domestic and foreign position, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union also formed the leadership system which takes concentration as the characteristic. Thus, in fact the new Soviet republic became the federal republic which includes the state structure of the federal system and the leadership system of concentration. This kind of unusual union which combines the national structure with the leadership system had once played the important historical role, as advancing socialist construction of Soviet Union and sticking up for the unification and development of country.However, there were intrinsic contradictions in the union from the very beginning. Moreover, specially during Stalin as the leader, since the authority of the party was strengthened and the rights and interests of each Union Republic were weakened unceasingly in the practice, aculeated contradictory conflict contradiction has been created between the party and politics, the leadership of party and various nations, the Russian republic and each Union Republic. So serious crisis of the Soviet society had been bred.But the Gorbachev's reformation developed to weaken and abolish the leadership of party from innovating the party ,which encouraged the separationism tendency of nations. So it moved towards another wrong extreme that was the opposite of Stalin. Finally the disintegration of the Soviet Union happened.The above history shows that, during the progress of the socialist constructions and the reformation of the political system, we must persist in the unification of the country, must adhere to the leadership of the party, improve and strengthen the party leadership, deal with the national contradiction and the national question correctly, and must value and strengthen the democratic supervision mechanism.
