The Research On The Problems And Strategies Of Insurance Supervision Internationalization

The development of economic globalization and integration will inevitably give rise to the internationalization of insurance, which will bring a great challenge to our domestic insurance supervision business. This thesis analyzes the concept, the content and the purpose of insurance supervision; the concepts and representations of insurance internationalization and insurance supervision internationalization. Comparing the insurance regulatory institution with the developed countries, then it analyzes the reasons of disparity in history and law. Finally it gives the suggestions on insurance supervision internationalization in our country, according to the international rules of insurance supervision.This thesis demonstrates insurance supervision in five aspects.First, the author discusses the concept, the content and the purpose of insurance supervision.Secondly, the author discusses the problems of insurance supervision internationalization, including the concept, the representations, The International Insurance Supervisors' Association and Insurance Core Principles.Thirdly, the author compares with the insurance regulatory institution in the USA, Japan and Germany from the purpose, the content, the pattern, and the system of insurance supervision. Thus we can find the insufficiency of insurance supervision internationalization in our country.Fourthly, the author analyzes the insufficiency and the reason of our insurance supervision. He discusses the current situation of our insurance supervision, finds the current problems and analyzes the reasons from the history and the law aspects.Finally, the author suggests some relative policies should be formulated to strengthen and perfect the insurance supervision after analyzing the developing trends of the international insurance supervision and the necessity of our insurance supervision internationalization. In the part, the author tries to study how to perfect the legislation of the insurance, set up the legal regulation system on solvency, supervise the behavior in the market, supervise the risk management, perform the devices of supervision, supervise the emerging groups, and improve domestic anti-money laundering system.All in all, in this thesis, the author discusses the basic theory of insurance supervision internationalization and studies the current situation and practical problems of it through the method of systematic study and comparable study. He hopes to improve the study of the basic theory of insurance supervision in our country, and perfect the corresponding law system, hopes to establish a healthy, ordered, international, and helpful insurance market.
