The Survey Of The Professional Image Of The Country Cadres In China

The Fifth Plenum of the 16th CPC examined and adopted the "CPC Central Committee on the development of the national economy and social development in the 10th Five-Year Plan proposals," and specifically mentioned the building of a new socialist countryside is a major historic task in China's modernization process, and on request of production development, well-off life, civilized for rural residents, the village capacity clean, democratic management, steadily push forward the new down-to-earth rural construction. "Above 1000 line, below a needle", the new rural construction principles, policies, the final analysis must also rely on the most grass-roots village cadres to implement and enforce, especially in the removal of China's agricultural tax, the functions of the village cadres change to service-oriented model. It's a test our village cadres facing. Therefore, the image of village cadres is related to not only the party and government's image in the eyes of the farmers, but the success of new construction in rural areas. This study aims at a comprehensive understanding of the status of village cadres' image, finding the existing problems, and proposing measures of building an ideal image of the village cadres.This paper is divided into a total of four parts. The first part is mainly a account of the background of this study, the status of research on the image of cadres, as well as its shortcomings. Based on that, the paper proposed core concepts related to the definition and provided the research perspective and new ideas. The second major part is a account of the dimensions of the village cadres. Based on previous research results and the research needs of this study, the paper divided it into the dimensions of life and position. Additionally, the paper made a statistical analysis about the results of the survey in this part. The third part is a statement of the problems that the village cadres exist and the cause analysis. Through investigation, the study found that the main problems including the cadres have no strong ability to guide people to get rich, poor democratic awareness and service, poor image of life and other issues. This article holds that the reasons for this includes both historical practical ones, not only by the impact of traditional farming culture, but also by the defective system constraints; and the village cadres themselves also lead to a poor image. In the fourth part, on the basis of the analysis, the paper raised a way of ideological education, and system building to build the ideal image of the village cadres.
