Research On The Government Management Innovation Under E-Government Environment

With the advent of the information age, information-technology revolution symbolizing as internet penetrates every social aspects immediately. E-government is a government management innovation based on the development of information technology centering on network and bring gigantic push effect to government management innovation. The extension and applications of E-government has become an irreversible global trend. Under the background of rapid rise E-government in the world, how to promote government managerial innovation through implementing E-government has become a hot issue for the academic studies at home and abroad. Faced with the impact which the information technology revolution brings to our traditional mode of government management, this paper aims to give the specific measures on government management innovation on the basis of its necessity analysis, and we hope that this paper can take on some practical guiding significance.The paper is divided into four parts to discuss government management innovation in the E-government environment. The introduction part reviews the theories of E-government and government management, which has laid a solid theoretical foundation to this paper. Chapter I analyzes the challenges on China's traditional government management under the E- government environment. Because there are many disadvantages on the traditional government management methods in our country, the development of E-government brought a severe challenge on China's traditional government management methods, organizational forms, management functions, management efficiency and so on. Chapter II discusses the necessity on China's E-government management innovation under the E- government environment. E-government is the development direction of our government management innovation. At the same time, E-government further promotes the development of government management innovation. Combining with the present situation of our government management, Chapter III puts up some methods to our country government management innovation under E-government environment from the following aspects, such as government management methods, organizational forms, management functions, management efficiency.
