Research On Information Literacy Cultivation Of The Joint Curricula Education Cadets In The Military Comprehensive Universities

The informational war has put higher requirements on the information literacy of military officials. To help cadets be competent for the future occupation, it is advisable to improve cadets' information literacy during the undergraduate education. With the information literacy education of concentrating-training cadets in military comprehensive universities as the research object, the emphasis in the paper is to study how to improve the cadets' information literacy education according to the job requirements.Beginning with the analysis on the occupational characteristics of elementary commanders, the construction of corresponding information literacy indexes has been made and modified with Delphi method. With the indexes as the base, the general aim and phased-aims of concentrating-training cadets' information literacy education have been discussed in the paper. And then, guided by the aim, with questionnaires of students and interviews with related teachers and administrators, the current situation of cadets information literacy has been summarized; on the basis of which, problems in the cadets information literacy education have been discussed from three angles: educational conception, curricula arrangement and the construction of libraries. Based on the study above, some suggestions on facilitating cadets information literacy education in military comprehensive universities have been brought forward, with the purpose of providing some reference for "joint curricula" educational development and improving the quality of cadets cultivation.
