The Eyesight Of Public Policy In The Theory Of Society's Harmonious Government

As one of the political conducts, the harmonious social government is the theme of our times. By investigating the content and connotation of society, harmony and government, this study clearly defines the concept of harmonious social government. According to the experience in other countries, if the average per capital GDP in a country surpasses US$1,000, the social and economic development will experience a critical stage. And now China happens to be on this stage. At present, the domestic situation in China is serious and critical, which is showed in the severe imbalance between different benefits, between the poor and the rich, between the rural and urban areas, between different prefectures, between the social and economic development, and between man and nature. So, it is urgent to conduct harmonious social government.As to the conduct of harmonious social government, different experts and administrators suggest different countermeasures in different respect. Based on the study of public policy, this study tries to prove that the public policy can be used as the regulator to realize social harmony. Also, this study suggests that the meta-policies need to be innovated, the basic policies be perfected, and the concrete policies be reconstructed.
