Study On The Weak Statue Of The Migrant Workers In Harmonious Society

Since the 1980s, China has entered a new historical development period. In this historical period, the social structure has undergone profound changes .Sectors of the community is divided, and the degree of inequality between the classes has a significant expansion. Migrant workers are a special social groups divided in the community from farmers in this social transition. They have made a significant contribution to the cities' prosperity and to rural development, but do not enjoy the respect and the right which they should have. The huge number of migrant workers who are in the social bottom in the long-term are a vulnerable groups. The weak position of migrant workers not only affects their own development, but also affects China's economic, political, cultural and social development. Therefore, the change of vulnerable status of migrant workers has a direct bearing on construction of China's harmonious society, achieving the goal of a well-off society, and the future of China's modernization. Therefore, the research vision of migrant workers in the weak position of a harmonious society is of great significance and theoretical value of the times.From the perspective of building a socialist harmonious society, this paper analyzes the disadvantaged status of migrant workers through multidisciplinary research methods on the basis of full information. The following understanding is followed: First, the vulnerable status of migrant workers in China affected the construction of a harmonious socialist society. Thus raising the social status of migrant workers is the inevitable requirement of building a harmonious socialist society. Second, the current weak position of migrant workers is because of their own reasons. But the diverse and complex external reasons are more important. They are the main system constraints, lack of government responsibility, the absence of corporate responsibility, the public concept of discrimination. Third, we must thoroughly change the vulnerable status of migrant workers. Through implementing the scientific concept of development, adhering to people-centered, and through the development of the economy, reforming the system, strengthening management, and a series of measures, we can eliminate discrimination so that enhance the social status of farmers and realize the harmonious development...
