China-ASEAN Relations And Countermeasures

Association of Southeast Asian Nations' predecessor is the Southeast Asia alliance that Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand set up on July 31, 1961 in Bangkok. In August ,1967, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, four long the Philippines abroad sums Malaysians vice-premier have held a debate, announced in Bangkok "Bangkok Declaration ", declare that Association of Southeast Asian Nations is founded formally. Since the end of the cold war, with the ease of international situation and the increase of mutual interests, China and ASEAN has been cooperated effectively in political, economic, security fields, and Sino-ASEAN relations are in the best time with traits of grow rapidly, fully, institutionally, and in multilevel. This paper keeps a foothold at present,and take abroad view of the future.It deeply studies the influence of the present international situations toward China-ASEAN's relations , and discusses the China-ASEAN's current situations and problems,and predicts the trend of the ASEAN and Chinese relations,and also sets forth my personal opinions on the diplomatic selections of China.This passage divided into four parts:First, relations between China and ASEAN's history and statusThe first part of the development of relations between China and ASEAN from establishing, developing and mature in three phases were described. This was followed by China and the ASEAN's economic, political, educational and cultural cooperation and bilateral relations between the security status of exposition.Second, The significance of elations between China and ASEANThe development of the relations between China and ASEAN, in line with the fundamental interests of both sides, it is these fundamental interests of promoting relations between China and ASEAN development of the internal driving force. In the establishment of new regional order in the process of China and ASEAN need to support each other, based on each other, no one who can not do without, or the benefit of both, both sub-impaired. China needs ASEAN, ASEAN needs China.Third, the impact on the development of relations between China and ASEAN the main factorsChina-ASEAN relations from the history; the development of bilateral relations is subject to the impact of various factors. Among these are positive factors, there are negative factors. Positive factors are economic interests, the two sides in the Asian values, the Confucian culture, a high degree of recognition. Negative factors in the South China Sea issues and the Taiwan issue.
