After the Cold War, with further acceleration and the process of the economic globalization and world multi-polarization, the relations among big powers become ever more filled with uncertainty. As the largest developed and developing countries in the world, China and the United States are faced with protecting national security and safeguarding national interests. At the same time, because the two countries in the current international society have played the important and irreplaceable roles, therefore, Sino-US relations are the most important among all the bilateral relations now. Whether the Relations between the two countries are stable, healthy or not, is essential not only for the two sides but also for the world peace and stability, and even global prosperity and development.After 9.11, the United States have presented the terrorism as the greatest threat in the future. Because of its adjustment facing to the framework of global deployment strategy, the Sino-US relations have a number of new changes, with many increased complex variables and uncertainties, the uncertainties have become relative. With the rise of the against terrorism, energy competition, military mutual trust, the Taiwan issue, and a series of other related issues in Sino-US relations, furthermore, these issues started to affect the formulation of their foreign policy. Because of this, only if the two nations take the right attitudes to examine and evaluate the Sino-US relations and other factors which influence the development of bilateral relations, they will grasp the social order in the new historical period accurately, and guide the formulation of policy on the United States correctly.Today the world is experiencing great changes and adjustments. The tide of globalization has accelerated the development of Sino-US relations to a broader space, two countries have a more extensive common interests. As China's economic and social development, the rise of international status, the bilateral relations will be speeded into the fast lane of development, creating a benign interaction situation.
