A Survey On Adaptation Of Peasent Workers' Children In City

Although there are many researches about the adaptation peasent workers in city, the researches about peasent workers' children are fewer. Many researches are relevant to the peasent workers' children who leaving in the rural and the education of the peasent workers' children who come into city with parents. The adaptation of peasent workers' children in city response the situation of their psychological and live condition. The purpose of this paper is to explore the city adaptation of the peasent workers' children on the basis of a questionnaire survey.There are four parts in this thesis. The first part elucidates why selecting this subject, The second part analyzes the status of this field and introduces thesis and the methods used in this research. The third part investigates the city adaptation of the peasent workers' children including the overall adaptation condition, the family adaptation condition, the school adaptation condition, and the social culture adaptation condition, and then analyzes and discus the investigating results, at last draws a conclusion to the considerations of this research. The fourth part makes some considerations and provides some suggestions about the research on the basis of the investigating results which conclude from the part two. Over all, the city adaptation of peasent workers' children are good, but there are some problems on the lives about family, school and social psychology.The conclusions of the research:As most of the peasent workers have low education experience, unstable job and low salary, that lead to they can not educate their children with scientific method, so the peasent workers' family living level are low. All the bad conditions make the bad adaptation of the peasent workers' children.The student which study in different schools have obvious differences in the school adaptation, the differences show that the schools belong to the government and the schools belonging to personal which register in education department are better than the schools belonging to personal which don't register in education department. The frequency of changing schools make a bad school adaptation . The study performance of the peasent workers' children are good. They study hard, but their participation in the class activities are lower than the city students, and the peasent workers' children display in hidden problems such as avoid others and anxious. As the relationship with the teachers, the intimate feeling and the satisfaction of the peasent workers' children with teachers are lower than the city students'. The students in different schools show obvious differences in the teachers' support.As the relationship with the classmates, the peasent workers' children communicate with the city students limit, and they have low admission feeling and lonely feeling.Over all, although the sense of well-being and self-respect of the peasent workers' children are high, the mental health of the peasent worker's children are lower than the city students. The peasent worker's children think that the city people's admission is not strong and they sometimes have feeling of discrimination.
