The floating population is the obvious social phenomenon in the development of industrialization and urbanization in China.The report of china floating population development pointed out that the number of china's floating population is 245 million which is usually changed on the basis of family and with the characteristics of a long term.In recent years,the traditional way of production and life of the Mongolian people has changed due to the continuous adjustment of the industrial structure of pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region,The migration of Mongolian population in pastoral areas moved to cities which is becoming more and more obvious.In 2010,the data of the sixth census shown that the floating population of Mongolian is 178,600.The regulations on ethnic Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region provides that the education of nation is important content of the nations' economic and social development which has provided policy guarantees for the nation education,as well as a good educational environment and excellent educational resources for Mongolian children and teenager,increased social phenomenon for floating children,paying attention to the adaptation issue of Mongolian children adapting to cities has become a social hot topic and academic focus.Family is the premise and foundation of children's socialization.The exertion of family education function heavily affects the urban adaptation process and effect of Mongolian floating children.On the topic of family education function in the progress of Mongolian floating children.According to ecological system theory and family system model theory,refer to related policy and regulations,combine with domestic and overseas research result and development tendency,from inherit tradition and integrate modem life to study the function and impact of family education in the urban adaptation process of Mongolian floating children.We combines qualitative and quantitative research on the results of survey,tease out the children's family education and urban adaptation,such as cultural practices,language habits,lifestyles,family education and so on,dig out the key problems which restrict the family education function,like function missing,misplace and dislocation.Analyze the key factors that affect the function of family education,like the concept,mode,total resources and social support.And then innovating concept,enriching approach,increasing resource and improving social supporting system.
