The present thesis from the historical perspective makes a study of the theory of Rawls's Social Contract ,which was called"The Theory of Justice".The first section makes a investigation of the content of Rawls's Social Contract .To arrival at a conclusion of the Original of Justice ,the Veil of Igornace ,a brief construe of the background of Rawls's theory and the summary of Rawls's theory is necessary . And then ,Principles of Justice ,which is the most important part of the Theory of Justice , are analyzed in representing Justice as Fairness.The second section make a investigation of the difference between the classical theory of Social Contract and the the theory of Social Contract by Rawls ,from the intention of the Social Contract , the background of the Social Contract , the subjective conditions , and the methodology of Social Contract.The third section is aimed to make a investigation of the morass of Rawls's Social Contract , from the antinomy which can be found in subjunctive condition ,the conflict of the principles of the moral ,the theory of the Original Postion ,and the Difference Principle. In the last , a conclusion that Rawls's theory is the inheritance and can make a contribution for the construction of nomocracy of China.
