Research On The Problem Of Farmers' Accomplishment In The Construction Of New Countrysidein Jilin Province

According to one of our country's policies, constructing the new socialist countryside is an important engineering during the process of modernization. We should take actions according to the different situations in different places, respect the farmers'willings and promote the construction of the new countryside steadily according to the demands of development in production, well-to-do life, civilized atmosphere, clean environment and democratic management. We should also cultivate new farmers who are knowledgable, mastering techniques and knowing management and improve the whole farmers'accomplishment. We should improve the production and living conditions in the rural areasAccording to the present situation of the farmers'accomplishment in Jilin Province,the author points out that the farmers'accomplishment of science and technology and spiritual civilization do not match the development of the whole society. The author also analyzes the problems and reasons existed in the accomplishment training for rural labors and concludes that the existing problems related to the farmers'behindhand concept, the shortage of nafional investment and the present educational systems and policies. Based on the advanced experience on this research in foreign countries, the author puts forward the aims and measures about promoting the farmers'goneral accomplishment and cultivating new farmers. In the author's opinion, we must have scientific development concept, carry out the strategy of the revitalization of the country with science and education, enforce the rural education, reform the models of farmers'education, carry out the plans of training farmers, arouse the farmers'consciousness in order to improve the farmers'accomplishment in Jilin Province.
