Investigation And Research On Current Situation Of Farmers Legal Consciousness In The Background Of New Countryside Construction

Building a country under the socialist rule of lawwas put forward in the fourth plenary session of 18 th CPC Central Committee.In our country,the rural population is huge.The farmers as a special group,their legal awareness are directly related to the construction of a socialist country under the rule of law.It also directly related to promote the construction of a new socialist countryside.At present,the legal consciousness of the farmers is not very optimistic.The phenomenon of hating litigation,fearing litigation and protecting rights by violence still exists.Therefore,in the process of promoting the construction of the new countryside,improving farmers' legal consciousness is a very meaningful topic worth discussing.In this context,the paper stated the main characteristics and the dialectical relations of farmers' legal consciousness and new socialist countryside.Then we choose the famers of pingzhi,yifeng,Jiangxi province that once worked for four years as the object for investigation.According to the data and materials obtained from the questionnaires and interviews,we make a statistical analysis from four aspects which are the cognition level of law,the evaluation of law enforcement,the awareness of rights and obligations,the consciousness of protecting rights.From the results of analysis,we know that the new socialist countryside is being carried out in full swing and the farmer's legal consciousness has also been improved.But,it is disappointing that some phenomena are still exist,such as lack of legal knowledge,weak awareness of rights,improper way of protecting rights,lack of legal belief.It caused by many reasons,such as the economic level is not high,the impact of traditional thought,the cultural quality is low,the legislation is laggard,the law popularization is not enough,the legal operation impeded.According to the problem of farmers' legal awareness in the context of building a new socialist countryside,this paper firmly grasps the basic link of legal construction in rural areas and focus on improving the farmers' legal consciousness.Then it put forward the corresponding countermeasures from four aspects,which are consolidate the basic role of economic,stimulate the principal role of farmers,play the lead role of government,strengthen the authority role of law.
