Japan is the second economies in today's world, attracting much attention. In the 21 century there are four cabinets servicing for Japanese government, which are Mori cabinet Koizumi cabinet Abe cabinet and Fukuda Cabinet. Each cabinet has its own style and different policies. I try to analyze the diplomatic trend of Japanese government from Koizumi cabinet to Fukuda Cabinet. In the first part of this thesis many kinds of factors are listed, which are affecting the diplomatic trend of Japan. Domestic political factor, cultural factor, historical factor, effect from the USA and from Asian nations, international environmental and new age factors are the six main factors. From the second part to the fourth part the different foreign policies of these three cabinets are listed to make comparison. In the period of Junichiro Koizumi cabinet the foreign policy can be summarized as a kind of unbalanced way that is anything accords with America but against Asian countries. Junichiro Koizumi made negative attitude against their historical issues and the relations among the Asian countries. When Abe became the Japanese Prime Minister, he made some positive action to improve the relationship with China and South Korea, but some suspected behavior either. Yasuo Fukuda made some positive action to improve the relationship with China and South Korea. It is not a long time since he became Japanese Prime Minister, so his actions in the future are expected. In the conclusion part I try to analysis that during the experiences of these three cabinets, what can be confirmed is that the diplomatic trend of Japanese government is positive. However, to be a real political power Japan should undertake its responsibility with broad mind, clear consciousness of its history, and truly face the future development.
