In the past 30 years, the reform and opening up has experienced not only the earth-shaking changes in China but also the profound changes in China's social structure. And the rapid rising of the class of private entrepreneurs and that of the corresponding wage workers has formed the prominent characterization of these changes. Along the track of economical-political materialistic con(?)ept of history, the differentiation of these two major classes is becoming more outstanding and is having fundamental impact on China's social development. Along with the gradually clearer differentiation of China's social classes as well as the establishment and strengthening of their own economic statuses, each class will have different economic and political interest demands; and based on the long-standing conflict in economic interests, especially the labor and capital conflict, the conflict between these two classes will certainly extend to the field of politics. With the working class as the class foundation and the great masses of people as the mass base in its ruling, the Communist Party of China must take in-depth analysis of the economic and political demands of these two major interest groups, coordinate and properly handle this extremely important internal contradiction among the people, and guide a harmonious and orderly development of the political participation by these two major classes.Under the guidance of Marxist view of class and class analysis methodology, this paper proceeds with qualitative and quantitative analysis of the political participation by the two classes in private enterprises with a comprehensive use of economics, political science, sociology, political psychology, and other related disciplines, thus bringing forward the methods for solving the conflict of the political participation by the two classes. This paper consists of four parts: Chapter One outlines the class division and its most prominent changes under the framework of private enterprises in 30 years of reform and opening up, raises the research issues, and then clarifies the research significance and expounds on the research methods and goals following some related research results; Chapter Two reviews the formation and source of China's private entrepreneurs, goes deep into the status and influence factors of their political participation, and tries to scientifically reveal their possible performance in political participation in the next period of time; Based on an empirical research; Chapter Three reflects the status quo of political participation by China's wage workers and further explores the primary and secondary factors influencing their political participation, thus forecasting the development trend of their political participation. On the basis of in-depth analysis of the consistency and difference between the two classes' interests, Chapter Four takes integration of interests as the goal, providing strategic information for the ruling party's policy-making system.
