Modern Value Of The Mencius Benevolent Theories

China is a long-history country. There were so much outstanding philosophical thinking in the long history of 5,000 years. Confucian thought which is one of the spirits in ancient China is still has a great influence to our today's life because of the thinking of benevolent in a sentence . Confucian thinking is dominated in the long feudal society. the school of Confucian's founder proposed "ren" the core idea areas .although there is no clear saying of benevolent.Mencius inherited the thinking of Confucius, created of the goodness belief , deepen "ren" the ideological on the inherent transcendent and he extended the scope of the thinking to the political sphere, the economic sphere. He continued Confucius and Zisi and veins to a deepening and development, he recourse Confucius "ren" to the views of intolerance of the heart. thus say the goodness belief by it, he write light-Jun your people from the goodness belief, he created benevolent ideal country in Benevolence. Mencius is the first person who proposed the benevolent doctrine and developed the Confucian thought to a new extend.In the First place, this paper will go back to the origins of the benevolent theory. the goodness belief is the philosophical foundation of the benevolent thinking. The guiding principle is inherited the ancient thinking and re-developed the people thinking. Secondly, this paper mainly exposition the modern value of Mencius's benevolent thinking from the four parts: the value of the development of the socialist economy, the development of socialist democratic politics ,the development of socialist culture and the development of socialism and diplomatic aspects of specific exposition.
