After World War II, the United States becomes the world's greatest power, which plays a vital role in international affairs and masters all aspects of the global international organizations, therefore, its important influence can not be ignored. In contemporary world, whether big countries or small countries should take U.S foreign policies into account when making a decision in both domestic and foreign affairs. The Middle East is an influential region in the world with its mysterious past, the turbulent reality and unpredictable future attracting many scholars. With the changes in the international situations, the Middle East heat appears time and time again.Religion and politics in Middle East are closely related. In addition, its important strategic position, rich oil resources and religious and cultural factors make Middle East the one with political, economic and military importance as well as the target for the Western powers. After the Cold War, U.S. administrations seek the establishment of US-led new world order, and Middle East is a connection point of two continents- Europe and Asia , so the United States must firmly control Middle Eastern and not hesitate to resort to force . A number of serious events, such as Arab-Israeli conflict, Palestinian-Israeli conflict, countries in the Middle East producing nuclear weapons and 9.11 event, gave not only the United States but also the 21st century international relations the biggest attacks .Taking the 9.11 event as a turning point, under the prerequisite of building a unipolar world hegemony , the United States adjusted its global strategy: taking the war in Afghanistan as a prelude to the fight against terrorism and implementing pre-emptive military strategy, which are directly related to the U.S. global strategy to achieve successfully.This article attempts to have a more comprehensive and thorough analysis of the post-Cold War U.S. policy in the Middle East by observing its series of policy's formation, evolution and trends, in the hope of exposing the nature of the United States that through the analysis of the impact of the U.S. strategy in the Middle East, U.S. strategy in the Middle East, and the situations the United States faces in the Middle East, that is Americanization and democratization.The subject of this study will contribute to a comprehensive, systematic analysis of the interpretation of a series of U.S. Middle East policy formation, evolution and trends; conducive to China's strategic policies in the Middle East in particular, the country's foreign policy strategy; conducive to further improvement and development of Sino-US relations; conducive to safeguarding world peace and opposing hegemony.
