The Study Of Urban Agglomeration Governmental Coordination Mechanism In Our Country

Reasonable spatial structure of agglomeration and governmental coordination mechanism are very important factors of agglomeration competition. With the development of urbanization, agglomeration has becomes a spatial state in China since 1990s. The agglomerations in China are still in the primary stage and the function of the agglomeration hasn't been brought into play, so government has its importance to coordinate and to guide. The first part in this thesis is to clear the relationship between agglomeration spatial structure and governmental coordination mechanism in order to analyze the necessity of governmental coordination mechanism. The second part is to construct a model provided which has unicity and scientificity, through borrowing ideas from success of governmental coordination mechanism in developed country. The third part is to prove the practicality and effectively of the governmental coordination mechanism by using the model for establishment of Guangfo metropolitan region. Through the analysis above, we can suggest the model should be a censorial government coordination mechanism, which is directly under the center government and divide into area region coordination association and specialty region coordination association. Such kind a model is the best kind of model that can be adapted to the demand of agglomeration development and promote the development of agglomeration.
