With the deepened development of China's socialism market economy, the scale of floating population into the urban areas is constantly increasing. On the one hand, the increase of floating population has contributed enormously to the economic prosperity and societal advancement. On the other hand, accompanied issues like public security, city construction, civilized education and societal management in this process are emerging. Floating population can promate the social economy, while they commit crimes and add new danger factor.This paper puts forward the theory defined about floating population crime. It also discusses about floating population and the main crime of floating population to give the exact definition of floating population and the main crime of floating population. The article analyzes the actuality, characteristics and causes of the floating population's crime which in Beijing, Guangdong and Shandong. The paper analyses some defects of the current law about floating population, and give advices on legislative and judicial strategies that are relevant to prevention against floating population crime.
