To Reconstruct The Asia-Pacific Regional Security Order Under The Perspective Of The Concept Of Harmonious World

Asia-Pacific region is increasing economic integration. Though it has the world's most dynamic economy and market, it also has the world's most variable of economic and social transformation. Also, Asia-Pacific region is recognized as a most potential area on economic development. However, Asia-Pacific region is full of contradictions and conflicts. During the Cold War, Asia-Pacific region is the limelight battlefield of the bipolar hegemony. Confrontations were full between countries. Besides the Korean and Vietnam wars, there also have taken place the inter-regional conflicts and war in many countries. After the Cold War, the bipolar confrontation of the pattern no longer exists. With the correspondingly declining of USA influence in Asia-Pacific region because of anti-terrorism and Iraq War, expanding of Ianpan's ambition, the development of China and Russia's economy, and the regional security mechanism, new changes and complex factors appear in the regional security order. In such a complex international security circumstances, China, as a high sense of responsibility country, proposes to build a harmonious world. This action expands the way china influences the word and contributes to establish a harmonious Asia-Pacific region which is trusted in political security, cooperated in economy, shared in culture.As a concept, establishing of a harmonious Asia-Pacific region is a challenge to the dominant mode, thus it will not be accepted readily. Moreover, due to the differences in political system, the differences in development level and religious beliefs and the historical conflicts, reconstruction of a harmonious Asia-Pacific regional security order will be a repeated process full of contradictions. But we can not give up to the suspicion, as well as difficulties. In The APEC leaders meeting held in 2006, members of the participants accepted the proposal of building a harmonious Asia-Pacific region, and the concept was written into the statement of the leaders meeting. This is a significant development in regional cooperation. It reflects an important change that the members of the region get new acknowledge on promoting regional development and on dealing with region relationship. This has a significant impact for harmonious Asia-Pacific security order.
