The Study Of Community Care Of Old People

With the increase of the population of old people, how to take care of them has become an challenging question. The traditional family care of old people becomes problematic as the family size is getting smaller, population size has changed and the people's opinions of value are different. The institutional care of old people is developing with difficulty because it deviated from the traditional habit of ole people caring and the cost is expensive. Therefore the model of community care of old people is quite favorable for both old people and government, as it conforms to traditional habit of old people caring, the cost is low, and in addition, it can use the resource of community.However, there is still a big distance between the development of community care of old people and the public's expectations. In the tendency of social care of old people, it's important to study the deeply hidden contradiction of family old people caring in community so as to create new modules to satisfy the different needs of old people and face the challenge of future society of old people.In the context of the aging problem and the challenges with it this article studied the old people in BAOJI city with theory of social support, interpreting the thinking way of development of community care of old people through the quantity approach of research with questionnaires. The article has seven chapters. At first it introduces the relative background of the research, the design and method of study, then it analyses the current situation of the social support of the groups of old people and the weak parts of caring system of family care mode in community from micro perspective with social support theory. The article points out the necessity and possibility of developing family care mode in community by comparing it with family care and institutional care. It also analyses the current service of family care in community, exploring the deep factors which restricts development of it. On the basis of the analysis the author points out the thinking way of developing the family care service in community and the direction of improving it.By research the author discovered that the family care mode in community will have huge requirement and potential, but now the government-dominant way of development is not good for its future development. We should forester the marketer institute of old people caring under the guiding of the social care and on the basis of promoting the ability of community service, and help it go to professional and career way of development with more investment by the government, so that we could satisfy the multiple needs of groups of old people.
