On The Difference And Coordination Of The Social Security System In The Urban And Rural Areas Of China

The overall development of the urban and rural social security is a hot topic of China. There be important theoretical value and practical significance. On the one hand, the coordination of urban and rural social security can regulate the distribution of social wealth, protect the interests of the weak, narrow the income gap between residents and social divide between rich and poor, protect the basic needs of citizens, safeguarding social stability, promoting economic development, achieve the highest value of fair and justice. On the other hand, the coordination of urban and rural social security can break the urban-rural dual structure, accomplish "industry reciprocating the agriculture, the city drive rural area", improve the peasant living standard, realize society a lasting good order, ensure city and countryside to make an overall develop, implement the scientific development concept, structure the harmonious society.Firstly, the article point out the significance of research, define the basic concepts, and describe the status quo of the theoretical research; indicate the shortcomings of current research and the focus problems of urban and rural social security.
