| The teenager movement of the Red Cross in Jiangsu has traversed an extraordinary course, during which it has undergone the process of the rebirth at the early stage following the founding of the PRC, the standstill at the"Culture Revolution", the resumption and development after the reform and opening up, and the gradual prosperity under socialist market economy. Under the guidance of the headquarters in this period, the Red Cross of every administrative rank in Jiangsu actively developed organizations and increased members, and did well in taking over the member fee. Meanwhile, for making sure that grass-roots work was orderly carried out, it paid great attention to the construction of the cadre staff. In order to strengthen the management of the Red Cross of every administrative rank in Jiangsu, the Red Cross adopted the method of objective management to organize the teenager and established systems, such as the enrollment system of litter membership and the document system of the Red Cross traffic and so on. Furthermore, the Red Cross also adopted the method of selecting excellent members to propel the progress of the teenager staff. Activities were the soul of developing organization, so unfolding various activities has always arisen regard of the teenager organization of the Red Cross in Jiangsu since it was found. This paper mainly combed the developing track of the teenager movement of the Red Cross in Jiangsu after the founding of the PRC, and had an overall examination of the organization construction, management, selecting the advanced workers and developing activities, and tried to reproduce the history of the teenager movement in order to reveal the status and achievements of the teenager movement of the Red Cross in Jiangsu at the history of the Red Cross in China and hope to reflect the general situation of the teenager movement of the Red Cross in China and promote an orderly long-term development of the teenager movement of the Red Cross in China.
