The Research On Social Adaptation Of Taiwanese Youths In Suzhou Under The Background Of Cross-strait Exchanges

Over the past 30 years,cross-strait exchanges have made tremendous progress.The spirit of the 19 th national congress of the Communist Party of China has pointed out the direction for the development of the both sides.And the measures of "Hui Tai 31" will encourage more Taiwanese youth coming to mainland to study,work and live.Under the background of cross-strait exchanges,more and more Taiwanese have poured into Suzhou,becoming the main object of interaction with local residents.This paper embarks from the macroscopic background of cross-strait exchanges,taking the Taiwan youth in Suzhou as the main object of investigation,Using field interviews and questionnaires to collect firsthand information to explore their social adaptation.Firstly,the paper combs the domestic and foreign related research to determine the current academic research status.Secondly,the paper from three dimensions of the economic level,the social level and the psychological level to explore the social adaptation situation and predicament.In the process of research,it is found that Taiwan youth adapt well in all aspects,and their adaptation have both commonness and difference.Personal traits,socioeconomic backgrounds and social capital are the main factors that affect their adaptation.Finally,according to their social adaptation of the situation put forward the path choice,in order to strengthen the social adaptation of Taiwan's youth and build a harmonious coexistence on both sides of life community.
