Corruption,is the "ulcer" of economic development,"tumor" of social progress. Along with the deepening construction of "the harmonious society",corruption has become the primary concerned social problem.Meanwhile,the anti-corruption campaign is an important practice as well as a big task of the construction of CPC. More and more serious corruption and the great anti-corruption of CPC both give big challenges to the discipline inspection and supervision officers.It also demands these people to improve their competency to keep up with social progress.For corruption showing features of group subjects,multifields hightech applied tricks,in light of disciplines of adult education and human resource development,the author integrates researched from Talent research,Politics,History and others fields focused on the competency demands of the discipline inspection and supervision officers,discussed four aspects of quality,ability,skill and knowledge.Finally,the paper established the competency model of the discipline inspection and supervision officers which is in line with the time demands and Chinese social characteristics.The paper has five chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction.Presenting necessity and importance in the competency development of the discipline inspection and supervision officers.Defining key concepts,"discipline inspection" "supervision" "competency".Locating the research theme and content on the base of documents study.Chapter 2:Theoretical guidance for establishing the competency model of the discipline inspection and supervision officers.The theory of Marxism world outlook, outlook on life,values,the study of modern competency model theory and the situated learning theory are the basis of this paper.The discipline inspection and supervision work is a strong practice,this paper particularly points out the significance of the situated learning theory to develop the competency about the discipline inspection and supervision officers.Chapter 3:Construction of the competency model of the discipline inspection and supervision officers.According three dimensions,law and regulations,features of corruption and process of case inspection,including four aspects that are quality, ability,skill and knowledge,referring to the history experience,the paper establishes the competency model of the discipline inspection and supervision officers.Chapter 4:Analyzing the competency of the discipline inspection and supervision officers and its development.The result of questionnaire and interviews shows that, without firm Marxism world outlook,outlook on life and values,concerns about personal gains or losses will be obviously,and to be the main problems about the discipline inspection and supervision officers.Shortage of training content,training system and improper training methods are the main causes for the competency development.Chapter 5:Advice on improving the discipline inspection and supervision officers. The paper gives advice from four aspects that are political character,professional training,selection system and self-learning,including the effective strategy of political training,training contents and training system,etc.
