This study collects materials through the participated observation on case and in-dept interview on some members. On the basis of socialization theory, this study generalize the differences of orphans and children with handicaps thought the family and house-style foster care on the socialization environment and the results of socialization.The first part includes the background of this study, the literature review, the theory of this study. In addition, the research object,research method, research text of this study are also mentioned.The second part analyses the difference of socialization environment of the two foster types of orphans and children with handicaps. The analysis include the objective factors of environment and subjective feeling on the environment from the view of family,school and Peer groups.The family foster care is better than the house-style care children on the environment of family and school ,but is worse than the environment of Peer groups.The third part analyses the difference on the results of socialization of the two foster types children.The results include five points such as personality and behavioral characteristics,lifeskills,life goals, interpersonal contacts, self-awareness by comparisi -on. There is large difference between the two foster types of orphans and children with handicaps on the five points above.The forth part gives the basic conclusion of this study. Based on the analysis, this study discuss the relation between the environment and results of socialization on the two tgpes children.then this study give some suggestions on how to improve the socialization environment, core issues of socialization and the most important respects for foster children'socialization.
