| Our country has promoted the news spokesman system from1983, but this system causes the extensive concern in the people after 2003 the SARS crisis. In the developed western country, the government news spokesman system has developed for hundred years. This system is the important method which impels open and transparent of government, promotes the relation between the government and the ordinary people, helps the country establish a good image. At present, the implementation of government news spokesman system is a current way in various countries. With the polities democratization enhancement of our country and the development of the government reform, the news spokesman system will develop gradually and consummate. Therefore, systematically research government news spokesman system has the important theory and practice significance.In this paper, the great importance of a spokesman in sudden events is analyzed through quite a number of real cases. The problems in the information issuance of sudden events in present China are also pointed out. This paper will help a spokesman to make full use of the press in emergency so he can stand in the leading status of the news and strengthen the controlling ability in crisis public relations. In this way, a spokesman can be confident and at ease: the information can be effectively communicated and the loss in crisis will be reduced to the least extent, and sound public relations can be rebuilt in time.
