Dogmatism, which is extremely harmful to Marxism, is an anti-Marxism style of study. Since the budding of Marxism in China, a persevering struggle between dogmatism and Marxism has been begun, in other words, the development of Marxism in China equals to the history of the struggle between Marxism and dogmatism. In the early days, when Marxism was just spreaded in China, the Communist Party of China committed an error of dogmatism, because this party was still relatively immature and didn't really understand the essence of Marxism. Wang Ming, taking the rigid doctrines as the only criterion to guide practice, copied the Russian Bolshevik strategy, believing that Chinese revolutionary should copy the strategy of Russian Revolution attacking major cities. Wang Ming's Left- dogmatism error led to the Red Army's fifth failure in fighting against encirclement and suppression waged by kuomintang reactionaries in 1934, which almost ruined Chinese revolution. Wang Ming's left-dogmatism error, with a more complete theory, the longest duration and the most serious harm, pushed forward dogmatism to the extreme, which greatly influenced the study of Marxism in the negative way, seriously impeded the development of localization of Marxism in China, making the Chinese revolution in dire straits. Wang Ming, a member of petty bourgeoisie, with an shakable political stand and rigid thought, changed his thoughts from left-dogmatism to right-dogmatism, leading to another frustration of Chinese revolution. Mistakes and setbacks made the whole party recognize the great harm of dogmatism. Mao Zedong with his superior intelligence, first raised the banner of opposition to dogmatism and made a tortuous struggle with Wang Ming's dogmatism. At the party's sixth plenary session, the subject of"localization of Marxism in China"was first put forward .Then , by Yan'an Rectification Movement in 1945, Marxism was taken as the guiding ideology of the CPC at the seventh national people's congress, achieving a phased win.In this paper, taking the history between Wang Ming's dogmatism and the seventh national people's congress as the research background, the author studies on Mao Zedong's struggle with Wang Ming's dogmatism and the development of localization of Marxism in China. In the first part, the author introduced the concept, essence and forms of dogmatism, providing a theoretical framework for the study of Wang Min's dogmatism. After a comprehensive studying of Wang Ming's dogmatism, the harmness of Wang's dogmatism totally appeared. Then the author, by recalling Mao Zedong's struggle with Wang's dogmatism, put forward pieces of enlightments for the development of localization of Marxism in China. These enlightments have great theoretical significance and practical significance for the implementation of the scientific development view, building of a harmonious socialist society, improvement of economic system reform and political system reform building, continuously acceleration of the overall pace of construction well-off society , and realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation .
