Research On The Method Of Threat Assessment For Space Battle

With the progress of aerospace technology, battle-field has been extended into space. The entering, controlling and using of space have become the main aim that every country wants to get. With the increasing improvement of the space's status, space combat will become an important attack mode in the future. In the face of the complex space battlefield environment, how to analysis the situations of space battle-field and determine the attacking target is an important task to battlefield decision-makers. And threat assessment for space battlefield is the first problem in the counterspace. Therefore, we need to explore a method of threat assessment for the space battle-field based on the other theories to support space battle-field decision-making.This thesis studied the concept, functions and characteristics of the threat assessment for space battle-field; defined the definition of the threat assessment for the space battle-field; consrtcted the threat model of space battle-field, brought forward a normative threat assessment framework for space battle-field, and threat assessment for space battle-field would be divided into identify target, intention assessment, capability assessment and environment assessment. The keystone of the BN (Bayesian Ntwork) were introduced to the process of threat assessment for space battle-field, designed a identify target, intention assessment, capability assessment environment assessment and threat assessment of Bayesian Ntwork. At the end, gave a demonstration about threat assessment for the space battle-field.
