Electronic Resume Centered Vehicle Equipment Management

Vehicle equipment, which forms a platform for moving support in battlefields, is an indispensable part of the whole military equipment system. Traditional management of vehicle equipment is centered on paper based resume. However, with the fast development of information technology and its application in military, to tackle the problem of how to transform the paper based resume into the electronic one and to carry out the electronic resume centered management of vehicle equipment have become the urgent needs. This thesis analyzes the source and functionality of the resume of vehicle equipment first. Then the research is made on how to transform the paper based resume into the electronic one. An electronic resume system for vehicle equipment is designed and implemented, as a result of which the efficiency and scientific level of the vehicle equipment management are improved. This thesis studies the issue of equipment resume in a systemic manner for the very first time, the main work and achievements are as follows:(1) An analysis of the management activities of vehicle equipment during their life cycle. We classify the management activities of vehicle equipment during their life cycle (from equipment supply till deposal) into three categories: equipment deployment, daily management and equipment repair. Further more, we make a thorough analysis of every activity in each category.(2) A study of the resume related information of vehicle equipment in the management activities. Basic concepts and classification of vehicle equipment resume are given. Node connections are discussed related to resume information. Also, information details of vehicle equipment resume and the acquisition of them are presented.(3) An analysis of vehicle equipment resume is carried out. Based on information from vehicle equipment resume, various analysis models are establish to obtain useful information for decision making in the management and development of vehicle equipment. The concepts and models of resume views and proposed and statistical methods for resume statistics are presented.(4) A software system named"Electronic Resume Management System for Vehicle Equipment"is designed. An example of the analysis of vehicle equipment resume is given.
