The Application Of Equipment Maintenance Tactics On Basis Of TPM In Ezhou Power Plant

As a trade of national lifeblood, the production of electric power is required to be safe, steady and in succession. In addition, with support of profit brought by monopolization, to operate it more economically is less concerned than other industries. However, with the process of marketization and the gradual deepening of system reform of electric power, the competition on prices and the separation between plants and networks are inevitable. With market competition becoming more and more fierce, the traditional idea of electricity production is challenged severely. Existing management theories and methods can't adapt to the change of environment anymore. Therefore, as an economic entity, it is necessary for electricity plants to improve and optimize their operation procedures and introduce advanced management theories to meet the needs of modernized management under the condition of producing safely and steadily. This paper emphatically probed into the trends and tactics on improving and innovating plant maintenance system in electric power enterprises.At first, this text put forward the background of the proposition and starting point of the writing. Then, it surveyed the evolution and development trend of equipment maintenance management. Combining the background of Ezhou power plant and mode of equipment management in electric power enterprises, it summed up the equipment management procedures of Ezhou power plant and analyzed its characteristic, including overhaul management, dependability management, defect management, oil affair management, expense management etc. It also summarized the preliminary application in advanced thought of equipment management and information management system in Ezhou power plant. Afterwards, it analyzed the environmental changes of Ezhou power plant macroscopically and pointed out the question existing in the current equipment management system. Through analyzing environment of domestic electricity plants and current situation of enterprises' pursuing TPM, it expounded the necessities of using key thoughts of TPM to improve equipment management system. At last, by using key thoughts of TPM management theory, the paper put forward the improvement direction of equipment management system in Ezhou power plant. Closely connecting with the current equipment management, it put forward the improvement tactics in on-the-spot management, defect management, outside assure and expenses management.In conclusion part, it is emphasized that to introduce TPM theories and methods in equipment management is necessary both for continuous organization improvements and strengthening of market competitiveness for electric power enterprises. Furthermore, it pointed out that the understanding and support of managers are key factors in implementing TPM in enterprises.
