| Military logistics MIS visualization is the process to obtain and transmit the military data information including the resources, requirements, and status of the military supplies timely, accurately and visibly based on national defense information infrastructure, information technology and military logistics theory. Its basic aim is to achieve the visualization all the time and all goods. This paper improves and integrates several kinds of technologies that may affect the military logistics visual-ability after discussion of Chinese and foreign military logistics development. Main contents are:First, the author analyzes the necessity and urgency to achieve the military logistics MIS visualization for the military logistics support model deficiencies from the point of view of the logistics management, especially, analyzes the new technology RFID'S application status in the field of logistics. In this paper, the author points out what is the key aspect to achieve the military logistics MIS visualization to implant RFID chips in the military materials after analyzing the RFID'S seven characteristics and four properties of the military logistics. The application of RFID in the military SCM must give the PLA'S logistical supports system enormous military and economic benefits. The future wars demand the logistical supports system move Scientific and efficient. We must pay great attention to the RFID technology and make it be new weapon of PLA in the new period through a series of acts, such as the comprehensive analysis and the scientific decision-making. In the near future, the RFID technology will gradually become a very important means to improve the military logistics SCM, to reduce supply costs, and to enhance the combat effectiveness of our troops. The application of RFID technology in the field of military logistics will give our PLA'S logistical supports system revolutionary changes.Second, from the point of view of the logistics information system design, the author gives a model of salving the logistics management visualization. This model includes GPS/GPRS technology, WLAN network modules, GSM technology, and INTERNET technology. In this model, the ERP system will be used to manage all of the real-time data information which exists in the various aspect of the whole process of military supplies the storage, handling, transport etc. With regard to the all-material-management, this model implants the RFID technology in the static and dynamic military material management to transfer the RFID and GPS data controllably in the whole management system, in order to achieve the purpose of visualization and control all time and all process. The basic procedure: the MIS transfers the RFID and GPS data in the WLAN environment by GSM to the military logistics control center, and all of military material storages and control center will be connected together through internet to get the goal of data sharing.Finally, from the point of view of the program implementation and program promotion, the author further demonstrates that the logistics management visualization is the key factor to achieve the five goals of our troops' logistics construction. The fundamental way to build our new military logistics system lies in the application of new information technologies. The implementation of this program will be helpful and very important to our troops' logistics development by leaps and bounds, especially for reforming our military logistics support mode, reconstruction of the organizational structure, and saving the logistics costs. |
