On The CPC's Social Integration Mechanisms In Harmonious Society Construction

Social harmony is the essential attribute of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and it is an important guarantee for the country's prosperity, the nation's rejuvenation and the people's happiness. The construction of harmonious society is a major strategic task that the CPC has put forward based on the overall arrangements of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the overall situation of building a moderately prosperous society. The CPC is the core of leadership for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the leader and facilitator of constructing the harmonious society as well. The key to achieving this goal is the CPC by its function of social integration, to erect a rational and effective social integration mechanism. From social integration, this paper studies the CPC's choice of the system and strategy in constructing the harmonious society. Focus on harmonious society construction, this paper studies social integration mechanisms in all aspects systematically and thoroughly. The first part analyzes the basic theories of social integration and its mechanisms, tries to pave the conceptual and theoretical way for the further progress. This part first gives a definition of social integration, illustrates social integration features of the ruling party, and analyzes the concept and the running mechanism of social integration mechanisms. The second part points out emphatically that we must improve the CPC's social integration mechanisms for the construction of harmonious society. First of all, this part shows that perfecting the CPC's social integration mechanisms is the great importance and the fundamental significance of harmonious society construction, and then makes a brief analysis of the primary problems exist in the current social integration mechanisms of the CPC and the reasons. The last part concludes that the key to social integration is constructing the system and mechanisms. It is necessary to further build and improve the CPC's social integration mechanisms based on the social development status of our country. This mainly includes five aspects: organization and mobilization mechanism, interest-coordinating mechanism, conflicts-resolving mechanism, information-communicating mechanism, and the socialist core value system of cohesion mechanism.
