To Prevent And Handle Mass Incidents In The Ideological And Political Education

At present, China is undergoing social transition, which is both "olden development period" and" high risk period". The mass incidents is keeping on the rise and causes double effects. As the good tradition and political advantage of Communist Party of China, Ideological and political education is playing a unique role by its "soft power". It needs to study the approaches in preventing and handling the mass incidents, and explores how to strengthen and improve ideological and political education.The first part defines the basic concept of the mass incidents and analyzes the causes and its effects.Ideological and political education is in a supportive role in the prevention and disposal of mass incidents, but it runs through the whole process of group incidents and plays a role in four areas. Embryonic stage in the mass incidents, ideological and political education plays a sensitive early-warning function; in appeasing the mass events 1 stage, it can communicate and stable the heart of the pepole;after handling the mass incidents, it also has the orientation effect.The article focuses on how to strengthen and improve the prevention and disposal of mass incidents in the ideological and political education. It is discussed from four aspects. We should establish the scientific concept of ideological and political education, establishiing the masses point of view, establishing the overall situation awareness, establishing a development perspective. We shuold make efforts to improve the contents in the ideological and political education, strengthening the socialist core value system of education, justice and democracy and legal education.We should take multiple methods and flexibly response to the mass events. It needs to divert into account and promote the event peacefully settlled; to strengthen communication and enhance understanding and trust; to adjust and promote harmonious interpersonal relations. We also should establish and improve long-term mechanisms of the ideological and political education, enhancing the institutional level. It can includs the establishment of a sound preventive early warning mechanism, information dissemination mechanism, management and coordination mechanism and rehabilitation mechanism. The final part of the thesis concludes this research.
