The Research Of Problems On Development Of Charitable Organization In Jilin Province

In the 1970s, the Third Sector emerged around the globe, attracting wide range of attention worldwide. All types of non-profit organizations (NPO) have started to enjoy growing prosperity since China's entering into the social transition period, generating huge impact to the development of society. Due to its quality and characteristics, NPOs'function also presented on the table, winning wide attention both from the academia and society. Hence, research on NPO is the cutting-edge task for the academic field in China.Being one of the most crucial components of NPO, charitable organization, with its unique characteristic, is under the limelight of the public attention. However, these organizations in China fall behind the other NPOs, which is attributed to a number of reasons, including that of the state mechanism and social development. It was not until Aug. 1, 1993, marking the foundation of Charity Federation of Jilin Province, which the first of its type appeared in China.The researching target of this dissertation lies in the charity bodies in Jilin Province, particularly the issues occurred during their development. The highlights of the research are as follows: external developing environment of charity organizations in Jilin Province and the influential internal elements. The paper is dedicated to finding the problems of the charity organization advancement in Jilin and providing effective amendments correspondingly.The writer will emphasize the living environment and current condition of charity organizations form the perspective of Public Management Administration. And the writer thinks that charity bodies need to perfect the self-building besides clarify their own status and deal with the relationship with government reasonably for the sake of further acclimate the social development with more powerful and conducive functions.
