In today's countryside, the men go to cities to wok, women in villages will play a remarkable role. However, owing to the traditional discrimination against women in society and the background of villagers'administration, the situation of women's participation in politics is not optimistic. Therefore, during villagers'autonomy, to put into the principle of gender equality in women's political participation practice, we must take effective intervention. Only in this way we cannot improve the proportion of rural women's participation in politics and deepen the political participation of women in rural China. The article analyses the intervention mechanism for improving the proportion of Xiaodian rural women's participation in politics. It is in the needs of the international situation development, political civilization and the village required by law. Currently, the proportion of Xiaodian rural women's participation in politics is below the national average proportion, so the study has some real necessity. Chapterl discusses the existing intervention mechanism for setting and running. This article analyses from three aspects----subject, object and content. Xiaodian district is led by government and it relies on women's organizations, mobilizes all social forces. Xiaodian district improves the proportion of rural women's participation in politics by protecting at the policy level, guiding on the publicity front and training in the education level.Chapter2 analyses the problems and causes of Xiaodian intervention mechanism. Women's organizations is weak and the intervention measure is single. There are some causes for the problems. Firstly, there is a deviation on the policy understanding. Secondly, publicity is not in place. Finally, training is not done enough.Against these problems, chapter3 gives specific countermeasures.
