On Problems Existing In Accountability System Of Government Officials And Solutions

awareness.Chapter Five analyzes strategies for perfecting the accountability system of government officials in China. Based on analyzing implementation of the system in Hongkong and abroad, the author thinks the system should be perfected from the following aspects. To strengthen construction of accountability culture and perfect the ecological environment of accountability; reinforce allogeneic accountability and fully exert the role of supervising subjects; make complete and workable accountability procedure and clarify responsibility form and way of realization; construct overal accountability operation system and fulfil institutionalization of the system; deepen reform of cadre personnel system; set up reasonable back and forth system of accounted officials.
