In recent years, Frequency of Group events in China has aroused the concern of the whole society. In 2008, Guizhou Weng'an incident occurred is a turning point, representing the reported mass incidents in China's policy shift:from the tight control to public information in a timely manner. In 2009, Group events into high-fat period, Media reports a large number of Group events.Undeniable, Compared with the past, these reports are more timely and more open and more in-depth, Has not denied the historical progress. However, we see more of these reported shortcomings in themselves and limitations of the times.The paper selected several typical cases of group event, Such as the Weng'an event, Chongqing taxi strike, Shishou event, and Luliang events, etc. there are several major problems:information Official which Media released is inadequate. a large number of coverages of Group events are serious political. And No in-depth investigation of media. Reasons for these problems inclued the impact of used Media system, the Control of regional political power and media give up the freedom of the coverage.Rearch by coverages of Group events in china, the paper have proposed Several improved method:Firstly, Media should public information in time. Secondly, media should only discuss the incident itself. Thirdly, Media not only reported the causation of Group events, also reported the progress and the result of Group events.
